At the gala lunch hosted by Property Week, Darling Associates director Damion Burrows joined a panel of other top employers in an engaging debate discussing what it takes to be a top employer, retain staff and nurture talent.
The Best Places to Work in Property debate covered a wide range in topics affecting employers in the property sector and gave us an opportunity to discuss some of the initiatives we have introduced over the last few years to make Darling Associates a happy, creative and productive work environment.

In 2017, our focus has been on refining our approach to staff wellbeing and as such, we have established a Mental Health Wellbeing Action Plan that sets out our agenda. As well appointing Mental Health First Aiders, we have introduced an Employee Assistance Programme offering support to staff who may be struggling with challenging circumstances. To improve staff’s physical wellbeing, we provide subsidised gym membership and host weekly boxing and ballet classes. Every September, our UK and Poland studios get together to unwind on our annual European conference and this year saw the entire practice attend a once in a lifetime opportunity to see The Rolling Stones live in Lucca, Italy.
Following the debate and lunch, Darling Associates were announced as one of Property Week’s Best Places to Work in Property 2018.
