Darling Associates won an unprecedented 3 awards at the Evening Standard New Homes award ceremony on Friday the 18th of May.

Fermoy Road, for Pocket/ Land Securities won best starter home development and also best affordable home development. Peel House for Project Grande was highly commended.

Chris Darling commented, ‘both these schemes have become pleasant and inspiring places to live and it is fantastic that the team’s involved are getting the recognition they deserve’.

Fermoy Road Shortlisted for HDA

Our project with Pocket at Fermoy Road has been shortlisted for the Housing Design Award 2012. We are amongst stiff competition on a list of 28. Winners are announced at the British Museum in London on 20 June.

DA Wins Curtis Green Project

Darling Associates have been appointed as lead architects to redevelop Curtis Green, on a prime London site adjacent the House of Parliament and overlooking the London Eye.

The scheme represents one of our biggest ever full-services projects.

2 New Abu Dhabi Headquarters Offices

New Chairman: Richard Houghton

We are delighted to announce that Richard Houghton has accepted the directors’ invitation to become Chairman of the practice with effect from 1 April.

Richard has a long-standing association with Chris Darling and Darling Associates. As chairman, he will provide valuable strategic advice, assist in overseeing the corporate aspects of our business, and provide an objective and detached overview of our progress. He will also promote us amongst his many friends and contacts.

Liz Moran has been appointed a director of Darling Associates.

One Hyde Park wins in The Daily Telegraph British Homes Build Quality Awards 2011. The scheme has been names Best Multi-Storey Development, and also the Chairman’s Award.

The Daily Telegraph British Homes Awards recognise and endorse build quality in construction and design, highlghting those schemes that best achieve the creative aspirations of the architects.

210 Pentonville Road shortlisted for 3Rs Award

19.05.11 – AJ 100 Awards

Darling Associates were announced ‘clear winner’ in the category for best practice in the London & South East Regional Award last night at The AJ100 Awards ceremony in London.

We were also Highly Commended in the national Employer of the Year award. We were praised for our ‘enlightened credentials’, our diversity in recruitment policies, and good employment policies at our heart. In particular it was noted we had the highest female
to male ratio in the top 100 – 65% female: including a director and all of our associates.
