Martin after graduating, joined Sir Fredderick Gibberd Associates to pursue a career in commercial Architecture. He joined Hamilton Associates in 1995 specialising in office, refurbishment and high quality residential developments. His appointment to Associate Director in 1997 gave him responsibility for a number of major city projects including the award winning Plough Place offices project, 10 Mansion House Place and 40 Berkeley Square – all for Helical Bar plc. He also led the Cassini House, St James’ Street team for Friends Provident.

Martin joined Darling Associates as a Director in 2004 with the brief to manage the design and construction of a portfolio of major projects. He is now running a programme of city office refurbishments together with a luxury residential project in Belgravia. He also has the responsibility for overseeing the practice’s recruitment and HR policy, ensuring high standards of staff CPD and career development are maintained.
