Three Darling Associates projects have been nominated as finalists in three categories for this year’s Northern Design Awards.
Representatives from the Manchester studio will be attending the gala event on Friday 15th November, where hundreds of leading designers will assemble at the Principal Hotel in Manchester to find out which companies and individuals will be walking away with one of the North’s most coveted design awards.
The shortlisted projects are as follows:
The Woodsman, Stratford
Restaurant & Bar £250k > £750k
A new concept restaurant headed up by the Michelin star chef Mike Robinson. Darling Associates provided the Interior Design service for this project.

Hotel Interior Design
Grade II* listed building in the heart of Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon that has now been converted into a 95 bedroom Indigo hotel.

Interior Design Project < £500k
JDW pub in Bridlington, renovated and extended by Darling Associates, drawing on local influences from historic British seaside traditions.

The 17th edition of the event features a prestigious panel of judges including Wayne Hemingway, Nick Munro, BIID President Harriet Forde and internationally renowned designer, George Bond, plus the influential designer, Linda Barker.
