The consented mixed-use development will provide 319 high-quality apartments, shared communal facilities and flexible Class E space to the town and introduce an extensive landscaped courtyard and gardens for resident and public use.
Each building has been designed with its own character in mind to provide visual interest. A series of stepped back elements and differing roof styles have been used across the site to reduce the impact of massing in the street scene.
The layout of the site has been carefully considered to create a central public open space, with key focal buildings marking the centre of the site and the prominent corners. We have sought to make best use of the changing land levels across the site to ensure the plans are as sensitive to the neighbouring properties and wider Chatham areas as possible.
