Planning permission has been achieved for 5 Seaforth Place, a mixed use workplace development in Victoria.

The development will provide office and residential accommodation, public amenities, a new ‘pocket’ park and a play area for Westminster City School.

Located on a challenging site within the Victoria Opportunity Area, 5 Seaforth Place consists of 18,116 sqft of offices, 4,479 sqft of residential accommodation on the top two floors and 992 sqft A1/A3 ground floor retail with bike storage and services in the basement.

The striking architectural response plays homage to the surrounding Victorian-era buildings and reflects aspects of the railway tunnels below using arched accents, whilst bringing through a modern twist, incorporating a colourful glazed facade with metal detailing.

The design of 5 Seaforth Place lengthens the existing public promenade, drawing the public down Seaforth Place to a new destination city park through the permeable ground floor of the architectural scheme.
