The architectural design creates a strong geometric feature on the A4 roundabout forming a northern gateway into the town centre, supporting and reinforcing the regeneration of this key area. The building also integrates itself into the historic fabric of the town, including the adjoining listed church.
The Point was conceived as the flag ship development within the wider Maidenhead commercial masterplan, a catalyst for the regeneration of the surrounding area, upon a site worthy of an iconic architectural response.
The Point confidently addresses a renewed connection between Maidenhead and commerce, every space is characterised by a considered bringing together of quality materials and exquisite attention to detail. This generates an atmosphere of prestige and confidence as you journey through the building. Each turn and reorientation is marked by a considered junction or vista which distinguishes the series of spaces.
The panoramic views from the Point reflect the aspirations of Maidenhead’s emerging business quarter and lay down a mark in the sand of quality and delivery.”
